Speed deadlifts?

I've been watching some "speed deadlift" clips which apparently improve "rate of force development". In the clips I saw the rep range seems to be between 1-3 reps per set with between 50% to 70% 1 RM. Anyone know why the rep range is so limited and could speed reps be usefully incorporated into a regular deadlift session?... more »
