Subject: Creating a Stationary Page on Blog
Is there a simple way for a new blogger to create a stationary page on
the blog that always looks the same/contains standard info while
another page has updated posts?

Thank you bloggers in the know!

Ref:"sticky post"

Please go to dashboard. Click on:-
1. edit post
2. edit (scroll down)
3. post options (change the date to next year, 2009)
4. publish post

This post will stick to the top of your page until next year.

Go to LAYOUT -- PAGE ELEMENTS -- and under "Blog Posts" click on EDIT.
On the top, change "Number of posts on main page" into 1 Post.
This way, only one post will be on the main page. Now, you have to
make it stay there.

To achieve this, you have to create your post, publish it. Then EDIT
it, and on the bottom, there's "Post Options" link. Click on it, and
change the date on the right. You have to set it to future...(to make
it stay on the top). Then Publish it again.

Later, you can always Edit the post to make changes on it. And
remember, it will disappear from the main page when the date expires.
So set it as far in the future as you can...

Smile!
