Is it possible to add a password to a post so only the person that has
the password can access that post and is it possible to add a password
to a link so only the person that has the password can access it?

Yea I just wanted to ask the same question. Why is there noone
answering to this?
There are posts that I blog about, but I just don't want the public to
see. I hate to save them just as draft. I've seen Wordpress having
this one great feature, and I just hope Blogspot would just have it
too. Any considerations?

Not in Blogger.  Move those posts to another blog and make it
private.  Only whole blog can be made public/private and not parts of
it.

I second the motion! I would totally love to make certain posts
private, so that certain people with passwords can read them, and not
others. I think the main reason we are asking for this function is
that we have been loyal to Blogger for a long time, and would not like
to switch to other blog avenues like Wordpress or Livejournal, etc.

Please please add this function, it would be very helpful to many
people!
