Michael Lohan isn't the type to back down from a fight.
The estranged father of Lindsay Lohan has publicly feuded with the actress, her girlfriend Samantha Ronson and her mother Dina Lohan.
For his next battle, Lohan will use his fists rather than his mouth: He's auctioning off the chance to knock him out in a charity boxing match Nov. 24 at the Hilton Long Island in Melville, N.Y.
Bidding to challenge Lohan begins at $5,000. Proceeds will go to charities including the Long Island Community Chest, which provides financial support to needy families.
Jeff Cohen, an organizer for the event, said he expects a big turnout.
"Anybody who jumps into the ring with Michael Lohan will become famous," Cohen said. "Maybe you'll get one of Lindsay Lohan's ex- boyfriends who'll try and impress Lindsay by beating up her father. Who knows? ... You might get Samantha Ronson trying to put a bid in there."

The more I see of Michael Lohan, the more sympathy I have for Lindsay...

Now he seems to be manic depressive. One day he's quite and rational, and the next, he's acting like a total idiot.
Online Beauty Product Reviews: Have They Changed What You Buy? Options I can't believe I missed this until now, but Sephora's website now lets users post their own product reviews, a la sites like drugstore.com and Targe. Such an excellent development, no? I love reading product reviews, and they actually do affect which beauty products I purchase.
Recent cases-in-point: I just ordered http://naturalhandcraftedsoap.com Complete All Day Natural Soap plus I use Moisture Cream after obsessively reading online reviews of oil-free moisturizers that also have antioxidants and sunblock and won't make my sensitive skin burst into flames and/or flaming-red zits. And I am currently super tempted to shell out for NARS Makeup Primer after reading the rave reviews on the Sephora site and drugstore.com--despite the fact that I don't wear foundation (meaning there's not so much purpose to me owning this particular product, other than wanting to personally experience its buzzed-about awesomeness).
Do you guys read product reviews? Do any of you write them as well? Have you ever ordered a product just because people were raving about it online?
